Zenit is a camera brand that emerged in the Soviet Union, with its production commencing in 1952 by KMZ in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow, and later by BelOMO in Belarus starting in the 1970s. The Zenit brand is well-known for its 35 mm SLR cameras.
The Zenit TTL is a 35mm film SLR camera manufactured by KMZ from 1977 to 1985, with a total production of 1,632,212 units. It was also produced by MMZ (BelOMO) between 1980 and 1982, adding another 1,000,000 units to its overall count. This model is a significant part of the enduring Zenit series.
This camera serves as an enhanced version of the Zenit EM, featuring stop-down TTL metering and a rewind crank in place of a conventional knob. The light meter is designed to remain stable against voltage fluctuations and operates effectively with a 1.5-volt alkaline battery.

The Industar-50 is a 50mm f3.5 lens based on the Zeiss Tessar 4-element design, providing a 45º image angle. It is colloquially known as the "Eagle's eye." The Industar name was used for all similar 4-element/3-group lens designs within the Soviet photo-optical industry.
