The Zenit C, also known as the Zenit S, is a compact, entirely mechanical 35 mm single-lens reflex (SLR) camera produced in the Soviet Union. It represents the second iteration in the Zenit series, introduced just three years after the original Zenit 1. Manufactured by Krasnogorskii Mekhanicheskii Zavod (Krasnogorsk Mechanical Works) near Moscow, its production spanned from 1955 to 1961.
