The Fotokor-1 is a folding bed plate film camera produced by GOMZ (Gosudarstvennyi Optiko-Mekhanicheskii Zavod, or State Optical-Mechanical Factory) in Leningrad, formerly part of the USSR, between the years 1930 and 1941. The factory was previously known as VOOMP. In Western markets, the Fotokor (Фотокор) is also referred to as Photokor or Photocor.

The term "Fotokor" translates to "Photojournalist."

- Focusing: Bellows focusing mechanism operated by a thumb wheel located on the right side of the front plate, with a pointer on the lower left of the lens standard and a distance scale on the left side of the front plate. Focus range: 1.5m to 10m and beyond.
- Cocking and Shutter Release: Achieved using a single lever for manual shutter cocking and release simultaneously. Speed settings are adjusted by pressing the lever, which opens and closes the diaphragm.
- Back Cover: Features a ground glass screen with a lid and cloth hood, removable by sliding upwards after unlocking the latch, allowing for the insertion of the plate film holder.
