FED-5 is a 35mm rangefinder camera manufactured by the FED factory located in Kharkiv, Ukraine, from 1977 to 1996.

This model serves as an enhancement of the FED-4, featuring a more streamlined design on the top, a pop-up rewind knob replacing the previous thumb-wheel, and the addition of a hot shoe. It also includes redesigned film reminder/frame counter and meter rings, along with a repositioned meter scale that has been upgraded from a match-needle system to an EV-scaled format, allowing users to manually input the meter reading into the calculator.
