The FED 3 is a Soviet rangefinder camera that draws inspiration from the classic Leica models. It utilizes 35mm film and represents an advancement over the FED 2, with both models sharing identical dimensions.
The FED 3b variant was launched in 1963, featuring a film advance lever and a flat top design. While it lacks strap lugs, an ever-ready case was initially offered. Typically, the FED 3b is equipped with either an Industar 26M or Industar 61 lens, which can be swapped with other M39 mount lenses, though they may not fully comply with the Leica standard.
Manufactured between the 1960s and 1970s, this camera has a serial number of 030546. It is constructed from metal and weighs approximately 0.8 kg. Additionally, it includes a flash synchronization socket and a self-timer.
This camera has undergone minimal usage and is in excellent functional state.
